On the topic of Fabled Lands, I see that the first four have been rereleased and the RPG is out too.

I've seen this sort of thing before, and while I have always liked the idea, the implementation has usually left a lot to be desired.

It even got imported into D20 variants like Star Wars, Fantas ...

Can't remember, it was just the impression I got from reading the first chapter or two. I may be misremembering the details, I just recall this panting-over-exaggerated-stuff vibe to the writing. Who ...

I skimmed the first book in a bookstore once, and got a kind of "huge magic swords! Massive wolf pets!" vibe from it, so I think I know what you mean about the adolescent thing. Some people ...

It's been going on for a while now. I first noticed it last Wednesday.

Is this show decent quality like some of those, or is it just of interest to fantasy fans? Judging by the first couple of episodes, how does it compare to more mainstream TV shows like Xena or Legend ...
