Hi Everyone,

There will be the first WARGS meeting in a while held on Sunday the 18th of Feb at Wargame Supplies at 12pm and I hope to see many of you there.

There will naturally be a fair amount of general business to take care of along the lines of sussing out what people want from the meetings and sorting out a AGM in the near future.

Other things that are likely to be discussed include events and Mash's new subgroup.

We are aloud to use the zip in the back of the store as long as we contribute a bit of tea and coffee something I will be organising so there will be some very minor refreshments available.

I would like to ask if anyone wants to hold a discussion, or run a game there to kick things off. If there are no volunteers I will ask at least one other person who has had experience organising larps to hold a discussion/question-answer session on basically putting together and running LARP's. Or at least what I have learnt frm doing it a couple of times which may or may not be at all enlightening.

Hugs all.

Nasia

So how did it go? How many people turned up? Many new faces? How does the venue cope with that number of people, and could it cope with more? Is there space for several games plus a discussion group? Do people seem to like Sunday afternoon? Did people buy stuff from Wargames, thus making them excited to have us back?

Etc etc etc...

I am excited to see WARGS back in action!

We had one roleplaying game adn two board games going at one point with no problems. So definetely works for one roleplaying game and either discussion or boardgames or something else.

We had a couple of new people which was good.

I believe some people brought things and a total of two other customers walked in during the meeting so we definetely helped there overal sales for the day. I'm not sure if it was enough to make them excited but at the very least we should be looked on favourably.

Yearly membership fee was agreed upon at $10, an AGM will be held next month, I will bring snacks for peopel each meeting and hopefully people will volunteer to run stuff.

Overall I think it went well and everyone had fun.

Hugs

I spent $100 and Nick Cole bought Out in the Black for $55.

I specifically held back some purchases for that day to help the cause Smile
