|
|
Hi Everyone,
This months WARGS meeting is scheduled for Sunday the 19th and hopefully will be able to go ahead on that date.
Susan has been badgering Brook to get us a new card, one that works after last month.
If we cannot get one then we may have to have the meeting on Saturday afternoon from about 2ish onwards to allow the crowd at the foodcourt to disperse a bit so we can steal chairs. Susan will be able to stay a bit later than she usually does on a Saturday (I however have an exam so would be fleeing). Check here closer to the date to find out if we have managed to get a new access card.
Anyway whatever day it is what are people keen to run this Month?
I am assuming Grant is keen for more shadowrun. I dont know if anyone has a frightnight game they would like to playtest.
Hugs All

Hi Everyone.
I'm hoping to get 5 keen people to WARGS to play test my Hot War game I've pulled together for Fright Night as Malc won't make it back in time.
So if you're interested PM me or post a comment here.
But I'll be turning up on which ever day it is to run it or something low prep if the numbers don't turn up. Maybe a quick game of InSpecters, or My Life with Master or even 3: 16 (only if people like blowing stuff up though)
Cheers,

Access card acquired!.
Has to be double checked, but should be okay.
WARGS should be good to go on the Sunday.
Still a fair chance for board games the Saturday before hand if there is any one interested |

I feel so out of the loop... I don't know what 3:16 is... I haven't played Shadowrun since 3rd ed (I still have heaps of books)... InSpecters? But I can show up on either day.
Be good to meet a few folks! Cya _________________ We shall not cease from exploration, and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time.

Shadowrun has changed a bit in the rules since 3rd edition, but the universe is still substantially the same
Characters can now have cellphones
Cheers

Yay! Access card.
I am sure you will get a few people Sophie.
For anyone who doesnt know WARGS officially starts at 12 but people often turn up a little early to help set up. We provide some nibbles and tea and coffee. We also aim to finish up around 3:30- 4ish.
See you all there on Sunday.
Hugs

Susan has checked the card. It worked so we are officially scheduled for Sunday.
Naturally anyone is always welcome to turn up and meet new people. So I look forward to seeing you all there.

If for some reason the card fails, the not so secret back up plan is to take over the foyer area near Mojo coffee.
If we can get into that area..
But everything should be good to go.
Anyone got any board game requests? |

Don't forget I'll be there with my Hot War game for Fright Night. I'll need at least 4 to run it, so hopefully that many people are interested!

It was great to meet folks! The Shadowrun game was really good and just what I was looking for.
I'm still open for random events until Nov. 1st. See y'all again real soon. _________________ We shall not cease from exploration, and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time.

Hey Masada, I'm glad you enjoyed it
I'm there most Wargs meetings (I don't think I've missed one yet this year) and there are often other cool games being played as well.
Cheers
