It's like Russian Roulette, except rather than having your brains blown out you have to endure watching some 16-year-old kid's poor colour-matching skills ruin your monitor and scar your retinas, then wail as your connection gets overwhelmed by meme results and shiny "<subject x> is love" banners and animated gifs. Then your brain gets killed dead by the horrible content, lack of spelling, and angst. Professionals occasionally switch to LJ Roulette because they consider the stakes higher than the standard one-bullet, spin-the-chamber method. |

Yes, but I'm pretty sure Russian Roulette isn't outlawed by the Geneva Convetion.

Well, I use mine more as a way of keeping track of peoples than as a way of making friends. And I avoid the angst and bad spelling.

That's what I mean. Myspace is like the goatse of the pg-13 intarweb.

Not sitting in rooms singing along to tracks like "All By Myself"?
Now, back to the math lecture. I'll leave your custom no-real-subject thread to its own devices now... |

I believe that was talked about in the other thread of pointless banter on these forums.
I doubt you'd be able to find it though.... we are now up to 77 pages. My vote was black +red = bad, taste= good.
BTW, if this thread doesn't fill your spam quotent, feel free to join us over at Anarchangel's Chatty Thread of Procrastination/Break-taking in General chat. But beware of the baby eating Romans. |

For a design? Blue is emo.
Emo like a small boy crying in the corner because the ice-cream fell off of his cone.
Now, personally IM(NS)HO, FWIW, YMMV, etc., I use a selection of neutral tones, light greys with black accents and text. And Georgia for font. You can't go past Georgia for light reading - the serif and flow is so comforting. Some people might call me old-fashioned for that choice, and I know Georgia was so 2004, and that Lucidia Grande is where it's at, and to those people I have to say: I was never fashionable. Deal, foo.
Note that I'm not saying grey's my favourite colour per se. I'm just saying that in this context, with these particulars in mind, given this frame of reference, my choice is grey.
Now, any more questions for Thorog? Those little questions that've been tickling the back of your mind, the little rule changes between 3.0 and 3.5 that have you going "WTF?', all the stuff you've always wanted to know but were too afraid to ask - it's all fair game here at Ask the Orc... |

So you like the default text color / background color for archaic web browsers of black text on a grey background? |
