Hi everyone,

The next WARGS meeting is on the 6th of June at the same place and time currently.

I am looking to announce a couple of definite games over the next week or so.

Also remember Wargame Supplies is opening on the 15th of May and willing to support Local events and gaming communities. SO make sure you go along and see them in a couple of weeks.

I really will run a game this time. :/

I'll be running a playtest of my CONfusion game. It uses the Unknown Armies system, is called The Storm Breaks, and takes 4 players.

I want to run a prototype game-idea, but I don't think it'll be ready in time... maybe I should throw some ideas at the GDC and see what they think....

Cheers

*sighs*
I'm not sure you are committed enough to be team captain Mash. Wink

That is our last game before reseeding and playing out the finals. Dirty Creature will be playing Too Crewd at 8.30pm. But I guess we have a whole month to prepare for that. Cool

Being that the game is at 8.30 again, a few of us may be there for a couple of hours before we have a take off. Happy Creature plays at 9.15, so a few of them may do the same. Smile

Smile Possibly so. But then, I was declared Captain by Sam one evening with no invokation from me! Smile I feel a certain responsibility to WARGS, and it's only one game... :/

No Problem Flamebunny,

We missed you two but it was a good evening anyway with a couple of new people who were great and Nick ran his Firefly game. Plenty of talking and boardgaming as well.

See you guys next month, or at the LARP if you are coming.

Also lots of enthusiams over a new gaming store that actually seems to care.

Ok so For next meeting we have Mash running a game and at the very least me bringing boardgames.

Is there likely to be a game designers cabal this time?

Hugs all

Yeah, he figured your organisational skills warrented it. Smile
It is only one game...and others have missed games in the past. I'm just worried because we won't have Anna or Dan either...

I'll be there early next time I think... that way I may actually be able to finish a boardgame before we have to leave. Smile

Mash is backing out of running his game so who else can run something on short notice or would the game designers cabal want to run some sort of workshop on well any topic they like?

I would be quite keen for advice for new gms, world design or how to make a system support a genre.

Dont make me badger to much.

Oh and Wargame supplies is officially giving WARGS members a 10% discount on all their products, just show them your shiny card.

If anarchangel is planning to be there I'll put my hand up to run some more Don & the Boys. I don't know which one, but I can figure it out if necessary.

Here's what I'll be offering:

Time of your Life
A devious plan is afoot to put Sharky out of business. Memories don't seem to match reality and some people are appearing and disappearing in a most disturbing way. And what does the reclusive American billionaire Jay Buford Haines have to do with it?
