Hi Everyone

The last meeting went well but we didn't end up having the AGM so that has been rescheduled for April.

At this point we don't have anything planned so if anyone would like to volunteer that would be great.

At the very least Wargame Supplies has open copies of Marvel Superheroes and Settlers of Catan. I am also likely to bring a boardgame or two so there will be a few things we can just pull out and play.

If anyone has any request for what they would like to see at these meetings please speak up and I will see what I can arrange.

Hugs All

Nasia

I will have cards for those who have payed tomorrow. If you cant make it get in touch with me and we will arrange some other time to give you your card.

I am also thinking of asking non-members to contribute something to the food and drink that I bring along (paid for by the membership fees).

Hugs all

BTW, as a heads up, the third Sunday next month is also the 48 hour film contest weekend.

Thanks for the heads up, I am not sure how many of the people who are turning up that is likely to affect but we wont be suprised if its a bit low next month.

Seriously yesterdays meeting was awesome with heaps of people there. Grant has offered to run Shadowrun one offs starting next month and Paul is willing to run an ongoifn PTA game there is there are enough people interested.

James even offered to run Unknown Armies if we need it.

The AGM happened and we had enough people to have about 3 board games going at once including one very enthusiastic game of Marvel Knights.

For those who are interested the current exec is:

President Paul Wilson

Secretary/treasurer: Nasia Alevizos

General Exec: Grant Robinson, Susan Wells, Brett Tamohori

Wow, the X-Men won! Rock on! I tend to find the Avengers and the Fantastic Four win the day.

I have yet to see the F4 prevail despite their cheesy combo (which they had the right card to thwart in this game). The X-Men have won most of the games I've played (as Magneto is weak), the Avengers and Marvel Knights have both snuck in a few wins.
