I am planning on running a new campaign on Monday nights, and am looking for three more players. It is called Unding: In Nomine, and is an action/horror game.

"The five siblings of the Thorn family are reuniting for the first time in years as they attend their Grandmother's funeral. Little do they know that they are about to be swept up in events both vast and terrible."

I am using the S2Hack system, whose rules are up on this website: http://zakzahn.s2hack.com/Undying/

If you are interested, email me at Zakzahn@gmail.com

That sounds pretty cool, does it actually have anything to do with the game In Nomine, or are you just using the Latin?

I'd express interest but I have absolutely no idea how long I'll be around ChCh this year, so it would be a bit pointless for me to do so at this stage! Confused

Yes, I will be using things from In Nomine.

What does the latin mean?

"In the name of"

usually refering to god, in the default setting you play angels or demons

What Paul said, with the addition that it's often taken from Latin mass, it's part of the phrase:
"In nomine patris, et fils, et spiritus sanctus, Amen", or "In the name of the father, and the son and the holy spirit, amen"

Cheers
Grant

The original French game it was based on is a double book called In Nomine Satanis/Magna Veritas (In the name of Satan / Great Truth). It's apparently up to the 4th edition. I'm not sure if it is still the case, but it was apparently one of those two front covers, flip the book over and you're reading the other side jobs; one side for playing Devils, the other for playing Angels. It's good to see it's still in print actually, I was thinking of buying it. Does anyone know if there is a French equivalent of Amazon, or a similar vendor which doesn't rip out your spleen for postage?

If you want to change the name of your game to add another Latin word after In Nomine, flip me a PM. Not that I think it needs it, but knowing the Latin, you might have a few ideas. Of course, you may just prefer to leave it intentionally vague... Twisted Evil

*phew* for a moment there I thought SJG had translated In Nomine back into French!

Unfortunately they don't have INS/MV. Mind you, judging from what I've googled up, it doesn't look like they changed the rules when they ported it to English.

Yeah, it's one of those (many) games I have which I bought, read, intended to play and put on the shelf.

As opposed to the (many) games I bought, put on a pile to read and put on the shelf.

Ah, the futile existence of a gamer, eh?

No, I think the vagueness will work for Undying. Twisted Evil
