Greetings WARGers, after prodding Grant and Nasia I have been advised to post this notice seeking interested gamers for a one-off module.

Either at the March or April WARGS meeting I would like to run a module I developed titled "Welcome To The Nightmare" concerning a group of Call of Cthulhu investigators who have been locked in a 1930s mental asylum and are attempting to survive the experience. I ran it once a few years ago and it turned into a borderline LARP with the amount of hidden agendas the players developed. For my GM credentials, please bug Highwayman who has played in several of my games.

As there is the AGM and a few GM's already booked for the March meeting, I will plan to run this in April unless there is overwhelming demand for it earlier.

Cheers

If by elf you mean 'mentally unstable mythos investigator' then yes.

Or you just think he just thinks he's an elf. Who could say what's really going on?

Most likely he's an elf in a Mi-go brain cylinder who has been tricked into thinking he's a human in a parallel dark Earth in some sort of nightmarish crossover of CoC and DnD! Eeew, imagine what thier kids must look like....

Just for the sake of completeness, the characters available for the game are (at time of writing);

Malcolm Bostworthe: (Age 52) Ex-British military officer, retired after his tour during WW1 where he sufferred brutal torture at the hands of a German occult sect.

Susanna Cargill: (Age 47) Idle rich and procurer of ancient artefacts, joined the party to learn more about an ancient tome rumoured to contain the secrets of immortality.

Tom Walt (Age 31) An up and coming historian with a specialty in lost cultures. Naturally suited to the invsetigation of Mythos activity, if not a bit of a weed.

Brandon Hammer (Age 29) Born into money, Mr Hammer is a self proclaimed treasure hunter. His travels around the globe have brought him wealth and infamy. Young and vibrant, he is stark contrast to his companions.

Viera Constella (Age 30) A young woman struggling to become an author of the strange and the occult, her stories both horrify and mystify with the realism and scenes of terror. She writes under a male psudenom to avoid the inevitable sexism.

Nope - only honest-to-God singing, prancing, frolicking, flower-sniffing elves for me.

None of that Half-Elf or Drow crap, either, I'm only interested in the real frickin' McCoy Very Happy

That's the real McCoy?? That's not an elf, it's a hippie. Where on earth do you hope to find that? A real elf would kick that guy in the nuts.
