I'm happy to run a Shadowrun demo game (I've got a couple of good ones) or possibly Cthulhutech, but I have a rehearsal in the morning. I should be able to make round two, but just to be on the safe side please put me down for GMing round three (I will hopefully get to play in round two)
Cheers

I'll be there, and happy to run something.
However, I'm not sure how much of the day I can spare, so I might be just there part of the time.
In terms of games, I think I'll offer:
- A playtest of my current project Monster of the Week (inspired mainly by the Supernatural TV show)
- Mouse Guard OR Lacuna: The Creation of the Mystery and the Girl from Blue City OR Hero's Banner
Nasia, let me know if vague plans like that are okay. If not, I'll take an informal poll to decide what. _________________ Games: http://genericgames.co.nz/

Thats fine Mike, basically I will put you down as a possible GM, depending on numbers that turn up and what time of day you have free.
Hugs

I *suspect* I might be trying to run Danger Patrol at Confusion (maybe instead of Don't Rest Your Head).

Yes, Mike. I am both a hype-whore and a genuine admirer of Danger Patrol's design goals. Which are: FUN! (and Martian Danger Apes)
Also, I vote for Monster of the Week. I must play it. _________________ Cheers,

Blurb 1, for Geist: The Sin-Eaters: The Return of Mr. Monster:
“The Return of Mr. Monster” takes place approximately two months after the characters formed a krewe in the Pelham Bay neighborhood of the East Bronx in New York City. The Bronx is the northernmost borough of New York City, and the only one primarily on the mainland. Many signature landmarks of the city are here, from Yankee Stadium to the New York Botanical Gardens and the Bronx Zoo. The district runs from rich to poor, with the South Bronx as a focal point of urban decay. The neighborhood suffered from a wave of arson in the 1970s, and mementos from that period frequently manifest the Pyre Flame Key. Even today, the South Bronx suffers from poverty, drug trafficking and violent crime — here Death by Violence is strong, and resilient Torn may arise.
Second blurb to follow once I pick a scenario. |

Geist? Sweet!
My game is probably likely to change in short order due to the fact that I'm more inspired at the moment by 'serious' stuff than comedy, but I still haven't decided on what to run. _________________ Running:WFRP: Paths of the Damned, D&D4e: Reach of the Dark Gods.

Ghost of the West
Deadlands/Savage Worlds
Ten years ago a band of desperate men gunned down the Sheriff of Broken Hill, and drove his family into the mountains to be killed by the winter snows and hungry bears. They broke into the town gaol and killed notorious bandits, the Jackson Twins. They dynamited the safe, removing money held as evidence. They went down to the post office and wired that the Twins had escaped.
Yesterday a ghost rode into town, looking for payback. Looking for you.
3 to 5 players. Characters will be partially player-generated.
Round 3 only. _________________ The opinions prevalent in one age... are confuted and rejected in another and rise again to reception in remoter times. Thus the human mind is kept in motion without progress.

And Blurb 2, for Exalted: Disease of an Evil Conscience:
"Contagion. Plague. Survival.
Out in the Scavenger Lands life is difficult, and compassion can seem like a dangerously unaffordable luxury. But despite the propaganda you might hear in the Realm about the savagery of those beyond the Threshold, most of the folk who call the Confederation of Rivers their home consider themselves good people. But what happens when the imperative to survive challenges one’s moral commitment to one’s fellows? Sacrifices have to be made, but when do the needs of the many justify the losses of a few?" |
