OK, ignore me. "Dilatoriness" doesn't involve dilation. _________________ Playing: ArM5 - Fons Albae; Pendragon: Defenders of Sarum; The Nightmare Room

I will also print out all the blurbs on the week of the 3rd of August so can people make sure I have them by then or print them off yourself. I need the number of players you can take to be listed along with what your game is.
Thanks everyone

Put me down for the final round, Nasia - my game is likely to go a bit over three hours, and the atmosphere will be better after dark _________________ Running:WFRP: Paths of the Damned, D&D4e: Reach of the Dark Gods.

Hi Nasia,
I don't have a blurb for you yet, but will probably be running HeroQuest (and will get you a blurb before the 3rd). Would strongly prefer round one or round two. I'll be able to accommodate 3-5 players. |

Cool so I have James in round 3, Ivan in round 2 (just in case you are running late- I know you have a long way to travel). Mash has withdrawn his game and Mike Sands is acting as a possible GM if we need an extra on the day and he is available for that round.
Andrensath I have you in rounds 1 and 2.
Most people I am happy to change around and if there is anyone in the list below that I have missed or needs to pull out or change please let me know.
Round 1: Paul W., Andrensath, Grant R. and Hix
Round 2: Mike, Michael F., Sophie, Ivan
Round 3: James, Andrensath
Hugs Everyone
Nasia
Edit to alter order as requested- if anyone wants anything else changed please let me know.

Okay, it turns out I can come along all day, yay! Nasia, feel free to allocate me to an official session.
I will be bringing:
- Monster of the Week (my game, playtest version)
- InSpectres
- Lacuna
And I'll run whichever of those people are interested in.
(I might bring along Danger Patrol too.) _________________ Games: http://genericgames.co.nz/

Hello Nasia,
Here's my blurb. Sorry for the delay.
| Quote: | Biggest Bison and the Seven Sarcastic Winds
Nobody likes the Seven Sarcastic Winds. Every year, as spring turns to summer, they blow around the Bison People’s lands, mocking everybody from the smallest child to the greatest warrior to the wisest grandmother. But everybody puts up with them, because the main thing they do is ridicule the rains. “Call that rain,” they say to the spring showers, “even a calf could piss harder than that,” and the rains slink away in embarrassment, and summer can begin.
Trouble is, the Winds are forgetful. Every generation or so, they don’t turn up, and Biggest Bison, your clan’s guardian spirit, has to gather a band of heroes, find the Seven Sarcastic Winds and drive them back to their duties. This looks like one of those years. And you could be one of those heroes.
But it is the time of the Hero Wars, and the world is changing. New gods are awakening and old gods are dying. Heroes walk the earth and the world is being remade. Who knows what this may mean for the Seven Sarcastic Winds, and for Biggest Bison and your clan? Certainly not you. You just want it to stop raining.
Genre: Fantasy (mythological / folktale)
Setting: Glorantha
System: Heroquest
Familiarity required: No
Number of players: 3-5 |
Let me know if you need any more info. |

Hi!
I am a complete newbie to this type of thing, and my friend & I got interested in it a few days ago.
I have no idea about pretty much any of these conventions so I was just wondering if you could give me some basic information about the upcoming one? I'd quite like to go.
So, are there any age limits?
Where exactly is it?
& what type of games are there going to be?
(any LARP?)
Thanks!! :S! |

Geiger Counter: The Hollywood Murders
Early 1950s Los Angeles. Detectives, gangsters, movie stars and a vicious murderer spreading terror through the city.
'The Hollywood Murders' will use the Geiger Counter rules to create a black-and-white noir/slasher film. Everyone will play a potential survivor while also taking on minor GM responsibilities (creating scenes for other characters to be in).
If a simple game of murder and terror sounds like fun to you, sign up and see if you can survive.
Number of players: 5
Rating: Mature
System knowledge: None, but you can find the rules here:

Hi Pirate,
I don't think there's any age limit. I've found it to be a pretty welcoming crowd of people. I definitely encourage you and your friend to come along!
The games are going to be played at Turnbull House, which is at the Beehive end of Lambton Quay. In fact, it's right opposite the Beehive. The address is 11 Bowen Street (Here's the google map link)
I'm not sure if there will be any LARP stuff being run, but Nasia should be posting the full schedule in the next day or so.
Does that help?
EDITED TO ADD: If you need to know a bit more, I think this post has a pretty good explanation. _________________ Cheers,

OK, you talked me into it. I'll bring Serpent of Ash and Prayers on a Porcelein Altar in case there are a dozen desperate people.
(Guess I should print some stuff by the weekend). _________________ Playing: ArM5 - Fons Albae; Pendragon: Defenders of Sarum; The Nightmare Room
