I was planning on being there today, but things just didn't work out.
If I get my book in time, I might run Spite if there's some interest.

I also made sure to pimp it at WARGS so everyone should know its coming. Hopefully they will also tell there friends.
It has also now been advertised on BGG (Board game Geek) so you may get a few random boardgamers turning up.

Were the new cards given out?
If so, can they be picked up from Wargames? Or do we need to wait until the next meeting? |

2009 membership cards were handed out. Nasia has those that weren't picked up, plus those who signed up on Sunday, with her while working at Wargames both today and tomorrow (they're closed Saturday). _________________ Playing: Doomstones (Warhammer Fantasy Roleplaying)

Can we blame electoral corruption for Freya's name not appearing on the list of successful candidates? _________________ Running:WFRP 2E, D&D4e, Exalted 2E, Werewolf: The Apocalypse

No she was discounted by a technicality; one actually has to be a member of WARGS to be on the WARGS exec.
And it didn't come down to last minute campaigning or speeches as Jonny was voted in and he wasn't at the meeting. _________________ Playing: Doomstones (Warhammer Fantasy Roleplaying)

Of course if Freya signs up to WARGS she or anyone else are welcome to run for any of the exec position.
For instance James maybe you could join WARGS and then get elected to the exec.

Don't you mean 'renew my WARGS membership for 2009'?
My memory is a little hazy, but I think I was in the founding exec - or if not, definitely one of the ones the year after. Unfortunately, I no longer have the time to commit to something like that, which kinda sucks _________________ Running:WFRP 2E, D&D4e, Exalted 2E, Werewolf: The Apocalypse
