Post a short description of your character below. This should be what is publicly known about your character only.
An introduction to Kingsport:
"Located on the Massachusetts shore a few miles north of Salem, Kingsport is just a little more than three miles southeast of downtown Arkham. The city is nestled in a bowl shaped-depression that encircles Kingsport Harbour. To the north rises a series of rocky cliffs that culminate in the dizzying heights of Kingsport Head. To the west and south are a number of hills. The largest, called Central Hill, is the site of Kingsport’s old burying ground. Just over a mile out to sea lies Jersey Reef, named after the Channel Island from which many Kingsporters trace their ancestry. This dangerous reef protects Kingsport's shores from the devastating Atlantic waves. The streets of Kingsport are narrow and winding, twisting steeply through the hills to form a labyrinth of pathways often difficult to navigate. Houses are stacked at all levels and angles, bristling on hillsides and filling hollows. Numerous buildings and houses are incredibly old, particularly in the vicinity of central hill and along the north shore of the harbour. Many date back to the mid-seventeenth century."

Player: Andrew
Character: Karl Gorski
Age: 36
Occupation: Fisherman / Tourist Boat Operator
Nationality: Polish
Karl served in the Polish army in an engineering division for 13 years (eventually reaching the rank of Captain), until he was wounded in the Great War. After recuperating he decided he had had enough of army life and emigrated to Kingsport, where he worked on fishing boats until eventually saving enough money to buy his own. He now runs tourist boat trips in the tourist season, and in the off season runs a fishing crew.
As a foreigner, Karl is still distrusted by most of the Kingsport locals, particularly the other fisherman who resent him intruding on their turf. Karl's main objective is to earn the trust and respect of the people around him. Karl can generally be found either on his boat or at the local tavern. |

Dr. Yin
Occultist and curio shop proprietor
Dr. Yin has a small curio shop in Downtown Kingsport. He often seems not to understand english, and conducts late night 'meetings' with many local artists. Dr. Yin is often accompanied by Topaz, his large, muscular assistant. Dr. Yoin recently joined the Kingsport Chamber of Commerce.
Dr. Harry Holden
Medical Doctor
Dr. Holden works at the Congregational Hospital and lives on Central Hill, in a hospital owned apartment. Dr. Holden flirts with many of the nurses at the hospital, and has unaccountably been held back from promotion and higher wages by the Hospital chief of staff.
Cormac O'Toole
Lifestyle Fisherman
Cormac owns and operates a large fishing boat which he docks at a private wharf near the marina. He lives in the well-to-do South Shore, and has a small bungalow not far from the Coast Guard Station. Cormac has been trying to gain membership to the Kingsport Yacht Club (thus far without success).
Professor Clarence Bishop
Archaeologist on Sabbatical
Professor Bishop is a teaching archaeologist who specialises in ancient magic and occult practises at the Miskatonic University. He recently stopped teaching at the request of the Head of his faculty, and took lodgings in Kingsport to continue his research. Professor Bishop is desperately trying to get access to the restricted Armitage collection at the Miskatonic University, but has thus far been thwarted, despite dating a librarian. Professor Bishop is currently staying at Mother Gamble's boarding house in The Hollow. _________________ Playing: Delta Green
