There are a couple of changes I'd like to make for next year:

1. Start half an hour later. I would make it an hour, but that would make lunch too late. We have the time in the evening for it to go longer, and finishing around 9.00pm on a Saturday shouldn't be too late.

A slightly later start would also lead to a more conveniently-timed dinner break, which may result in more people sticking around (particularly if someone does a pizza-run as they did at Day of Games).

Me too! Thank you Katrina, it was fun, even if I could only make one round Smile

Cheers

Dont you guys love it when the main problem is there is too much awesome around? Very Happy

Particularly as the main reason Confusion started was that the only gaming event around was Kapcon and people started talking about how great it would be if there was another time when we could all get together.

Hugs

Thanks for organising this con Katrina. (and Naisa who started Confusion going).

I really enjoyed the two sessions that I made it to, particularly running 'Homecoming', which worked well with the players who signed up. (Though I did steal potential players from Grant who planned to run it in the third round, and he probably did a lot more prep for it too).

That was a really great game, recommend it to anyone who likes their fantasy grim and gritty. Cheers for running it.

Also thanks to Ivan for his game in the morning and of course Katrina for organising it.

Bryn.

Nice report, that summed it up really well. I think you did a great job with Castle Bravo, I really enjoyed it as a first taste of roleplaying. That letter had me severely confused, but we managed in the end, hehe. By the way, I'm Henry not Harry, just so you know; I'm glad I didn't make too many beginner mistakes!

Hope to see you at some events in the future, thanks for making my first con such fun. Smile

So noted. Embarassed Also be sure that you set aside the 22nd and 23rd of January for Wellington's grandest 'con, Kapcon 20!
