This Kickstarter is from Graham Bottley who was behind Advanced Fighting Fantasy 2e and Maelstrom 2e. It uses WEG's D6 and feels like a Persian fantasy analogue of Ars Magica with simpler rules.

I am very excited to be involved as the Composer and Sound Designer in the newest Darkraven Games Kickstarter, bit.ly/DarkravenREDUX live until Tuesday, Feb 10, 2015.
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/61 ... apes-redux
We provide soundscapes for Board Games, RPGs, LARPs, Video Games, and more.

Gaming soundscapes will never be the same after this project.
It's not just amazing backgrounds for your games but it's fantastic original music fused together to bring your games to the next level.
You won't watch TV or a movie with the sound muted so why play your games that way!
This project now contains four musically enhanced soundscape packs:
The Core Set ~ Battle Pack, Suspense & Horror Pack, and Kingdom of the Elves Pack,
as well as the newly added Cthulhu 2 Soundsuite: Return of the Old Ones Add-On Pack.
In addition, we are offering some of our past products: the Cthulhu 1 Pack, Science Fiction Pack, and Fantasy Pack at a special discounted Kickstarter rate.
There are also free bonus soundscapes for Gold Level backers.

We would greatly appreciate your support, and would hope to enhance your gaming experiences.
Thanks so much
Joshua Cohen

Another Apocalypse World hack - Uncharted Worlds. This one is for a broad take of the space opera genre from Firefly to Aliens to Star Frontiers to Traveller. A little more trad than some hacks but pretty cool IMO

It's by John Harper.

Well, that's what sold me on it. I'm backing his patreon as well, where he's been releasing lots of great small games (including, finally, more chapters of the Wild Blue Yonder stories that he began with Lady Blackbird). He creates cool settings with innovative mechanics. To be honest, I haven't been following Blades in the Dark in particular, but what I've seen looks super cool, and I had fun playing his Bootleggers: Smuggling Run, which seems to share some of the "running a criminal gang" stuff.

Looks like an AW hack of Mistborn by John Harper (and I mean that in that I think that all those things are great).

Shadows of the Demon Lord went up today: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/43 ... demon-lord

Its by Rob Schwalb, one of the best mainstream designers and adventure writers around today IMO. It looks to take the vibe from WFRP2e, darker D&D settings, Diablo, and heavy metal music to create a fast playing and wickedly fun dark fantasy game.

Any other fans of Life on Mars may be interested in Ross Cowman's new game, Fall of Magic.

Looks like the same play style but a different setting, and a map scroll that you unroll as your journey progresses!
